Those were the glory days. It only seems like yesterday. Three shut outs in the 84 season.

Who remembers the first practices on the then, brand new practice field . . . before our stadium was even built? It was Coach Harbuck's (no relation) 2 week summer camp, we slept in the rooms above the locker room, we did 3-A-Days in August . . . when you planted on a pass route, the sod would come up . . . that and getting no water, just ice, having to keep your helmet on and chin strap buttoned at all times . . . if you didn't, upper classmen could drill you . . . memories come back every year when August comes around. Seems like yesterday . . . at the end of these practices we'd be "near death" and he'd look at us and say "get outta here" and we'd sprint to get off the field before he changed his mind.
