Well.....I graduated from MHS in 1983 and went to UAB that fall, studying journalism. I graduated in 1988 and got my master's in education in 1990. While at UAB, I met my husband-to-be, and we were married in 1991. I worked for awhile as a newspaper reporter, then in PR and as a middle school English teacher. When we had kids, I worked at home as a freelance writer for several years. But, now I have a real job (still part-time) as a writer and editor for a large, local daily newspaper. My husband, Ted, is a video production manager.
With two kids, we stay busy with sports, music, cheerleading, scouts and church activities. I lead children's church and work on PTA stuff a lot.
So that's about it, about me.....
Like, what's on my i-Pod? Let's see....it's an eclectic mix. Webb Wilder, John Mellencamp, Aerosmith, Johnny Cash, Beatles, Georgia Satellites, Warren Zevon, Junior Brown, Mary Chapin Carpenter, Casting Crowns, Twila Paris, Toby Mac, Michael Tait and lately....Taylor Swift, Nickelback, Flo Rida .....can you tell my daughter has taken control of the radio??
Favorite TV Shows:
Fox News Channel sometimes...Discovery Channel, How I Met Your Mother. And, for some reason, I get sucked into those true crime shows at times, like City Confidential and stuff like that.

Hey Frankie, you little toot you. So good to see you and hear from you. I can't remember how old you were when we were in the "Saftey Kleen" group. We had some good times back then. Gosh please tell your mom I said hello. I talked to her when your daddy died. I was so sorry. He was a hoot. And yes I remember the Fleetwood Mac" concert. You knew Lee, didn't you. Yea he died in 96. Was diagnoised(spelling) in 89. He struggled. Really a bad death. Sorry I did not mean to hash up the past. He was my little bro. but did not condone his lifestyle, and I loved him. It like to done me in. But God is Soverign and in control. I lost Jay my other brother in 05,Dec18th. It was 7 months after Charley and I lost our precious son Matt to suicide in May of 05, on Mothers Day. Frankie if I did not have the Lord I would not have made it this far. He was my baby. I loved him,and still love him and there is not a day that passes that he is not on my mind. He was my little angle. But I have Michelle, do not know if you remember her, she is 34, you know I think I have said 35, oh well 34,with Briana 15, and Mattie 8. Then my son Charley jr. with 2 girls, Carley 10, Gracyn 6 and Ty 4. My Charley and Michelle are still georgeous. Well o.k. I am a mother, can't help it. You look so cute and pretty also. You have made a georgeous young mom yourself. I'll write again, I have trouble with that guy "ARTHUR ITIS" He will not leave me alone..........Write back..............Linda
Hi Franki! What newspaper do you work for? I am the 5pm news producer for ABC 33/40 in B'ham. We're in the same business, likely have run in the same circles before. Plus, where does your husband work? My ex-husband owns Diamond Film.
Hi, Franki Pace -- Not sure you remember me ... just wanted to say thanks for putting up those photos. I recognize so many more people and as with all of this site, it's been a blast seeing everyone. Good to see you're doing well. All the best, Tod
