After graduating from MHS, I attended UAB for a couple of years. The family was planning to move to Los Angeles in late 1986. However, my father passed away suddenly in mid 1986 in Birmingham, which accelerated our move to Los Angeles. I lived in Los Angeles from 1986 to 1994. I worked in the Banking industry and went to school part time. I got my undergraduate degree in Business Administration in April 1994. In August 1994, I moved to Dallas and went to work for another Bank as an auditor. This Bank asked me to relocate to Houston in 1996—the best move I ever made. I got my MBA in September 1998. In 2002, I quit the Bank and went on my own as an independent auditor and continue to do so now.
I call Houston home. My family still lives in Los Angles. I try to make it back there once a year. I still have some relatives in Birmingham, which I have not seen in a long time. This reunion will give me a chance to reconnect with them.
I am single and happy with my life. I just wish I had stayed in touch with my high school friends, but better late than never. Looking forward to reconnecting with everyone.
