Note: Friends can also visit me on facebook, Birmingham Network under Sandy Miranda. - I have been married to Steve Miranda for 25 years and we have two incredible kids, Alexa, who is a junior at Auburn and Christopher, a freshman at Jeff State. I currently write a women's column for a small newspaper, have my own eBay store (home-based) and also work for TCS in merchandising a few hours a week. I still see Debbie (Quinn) and Chuck Hamilton at least every couple of weeks (we have places next to each other at Smith Lake) I also keep in touch with Ronna (Thompson) Sanford. Vickie (Bratton) Stoves' kids and my kids went to school together. I used to talk with her almost every day but I've changed churches and the kids are in college so I haven't seen her in a while.
We have been fortunate enought to have traveled the great big world, the US coast to coast, plus Whistler, British Columbia, Montreal, Puerto Rico, Mexico, the Carribean, Italy, France, Switzerland, and Turkey.
I have some great memories of MHS (and some not so great). I think anyone who went there or grew up in Midfield when we did are some of the luckiest people on earth.
I am a music fanatic so I like a little bit of everything. Rock, pop, metal, roots country, classical. I'm not so crazy about jazz or hip-hop. Actually, I take music personally. If it affects me, the genre doesn't really matter.
Favorite TV Shows:
True Blood, History Channel, Discovery Channel, CSI: Las Vegas, South Park, Reno 911, any of the crime or forensic shows.
Hey Sandy, just wanted to pop in and say hi. I see on your profile, you like forensic shows. That is what my career was at the Police Dept. When I retired I was commander of the Crime Scene Unit, which included the lab. I did crime scene work most of my career. I was fortunate enough to travel the U.S. (from L.A. to Boston)either teaching or attending forensic seminars. It was very interesting and fun. When you see Pat, tell her hi for me. Take care, Gene
It has been a long time but I’ve been thinking of you lately and found this web site, too strange. How are you? I so enjoyed looking at your pictures. You have more childhood pics of me than I do-sad to say. I would love to hear from you. My email address is email@example.com. :-)
You were always a little reserved in High School. But I could always tell you were a lady. And obviously still are. And still pretty as a picture. Looks like you have a happy life. I am happy for you doll. You take care and be blessed in everything you do.
I'm doing good. I looked at your photos and it looks like God has blessed you with a great family. You look exactly the same! How do you do that? Oh well, my oldest looks like I did back then. My youngest doesn't look like me or my wife, but he acts just like me. Maybe he'll grow out of it.
If my memory is correct, I think I ran into you about 12-15 years ago at X-fest at the ampitheatre. Anyway, it's good to hear from you and see that you are doing well. Keep in touch.
Hi Sandy how are you? It has been such a long time. I miss the Cheerleader days. I did not have a daughter, but have a 8 year old son going into his 3 year of football and boy is it fun. I am the loudest mom out there. would love to see some of the old cheerleader gang. We are getting together on 1/24 at Margartia Grill in Pelham. Get the word out and try and make it. I live in Cullman now and it is nice to get out of the country. Hope to hear from you soon.
