Anyway I Won't Be Looking For A Executive Or Management Position Anywhere.

I'm just looking for a job that pays at least $31,776.00 per year.

I don't know about Alabama right now, but in San Diego that kind of income surely is not a Executive or Management position.

The last time I heard about incomes in San Diego that kind of income was below the poverty line.

FROM THE PULPIT TO THE PEW

What Is Man?

Psalms 39:5 Behold, thou hast made my days as an handbreadth; and mine age is as nothing before thee: verily every man at his best state is altogether vanity. Selah.

Isaiah 64:6 But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.

Romans 7:18 For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good…

This is on a more serious subject.

Through some volunteer work that I did I was able to take some training and courses that cost me absolutely nothing, but I learned of something in our society that is the epitome of outrage.

It is one thing when adults act irresponsibly and harm only themselves, but too often these days they do harm to more than just themselves.

In those classes I have seen the harm that is done to babies by the use of tobacco alcohol and drugs by the adults in their environment. It even… Continue

Twitter? Really?

Do any of you use Twitter? Well, STOP IT!

Mark my words, NEVER will I Twitter, or Tweet, or whatthehellever it's called today.

As much as I love my friends and family, there is not one soul on this Earth that I want to keep up with that closely:

"Fed cats. One of them farted. So cute!"

"OMG I just almost saw a wreck."

"OMG I just caused a wreck by doing this instead of looking at the road."

It is the ultimate act of self-indulgence, sending out random "tweets" to… Continue

Starting a new church

Well I have praying for over a year and now the time is drawing near to plant a new church work. Curious about what people look for in a church. Comment on what you look for.

IT’S JUST A SUGGESTION

Has anyone ever given you advice that made you mad or upset you, then says, “It was just a suggestion.” Yeah, it happens to me too.

Did you know that most professing Christians view the Bible as more of a book of suggestions than commandments? They either are ignorant of its content or they are willingly rebellious of its commands. The answer probably lies in between those two boundaries. Many today view the Bible as a book of suggestions and… Continue

The Swami passes out the mirth and giggles... your turn to give us a grin

"Things you will never hear a Southener say?" ... An example might be: 'Give me the smaller bag of pork rinds. - I just couldn't find nothing to buy at Walmart today. - Unsweeten tea tastes better. - I don't have a favorite college football team.' - OK, folks you catch the drift...... so, in your thoughts...what are some things you will never hear a Southener say??????

From the darker corners of the Mysteries of Life...returns The Midfield Swami.

Well now, The Swami has returned... being locked in a shed for weeks has added more depth to my ditch-digging mind. This is an age-old question, a just-for-fun question that will make you think. If you could know the exact time of your death, would you want to know?

Mothers Day

Proverbs 31:28 Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praiseth her.

Today is the day that we celebrate Mothers Day. Every day ought to be Mothers day.

I have a wonderful Mother. She still continues to mother me and my sisters until this day.

She has always been there for us when we needed her, even though she cannot be in four places at the same time. She always has a smile on her face and in her heart when she greets… Continue

Consider Him….

Hebrews 12:1-3 Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. For consider him that endured… Continue
