Well, some of you told us about your favorite "classic" fiction. What about the greats of non-fiction? Of course, the Bible would be at the top of my list. Some of my other favorites are: Augustine's Confessions, the Ideological Origins of the American Revolution, and Thomas Sowell's Basic Economics. What about you?

So tell me, what is your favorite all-time "classic" novel?

I have been going through a phase the last couple years-reading the old really "classic" novels. In one school year I enjoyed A Tale of Two Cities, Dracula, Frankenstein, as well as several others. I would have to say my favorites of all time are "Beowulf" and The "Inferno" by Dante. Oh, how I wish I had paid more attention in Mrs. Dunn's English class!!! What about you.....what is your favorite all-time "classic"?? Also, WHY is it your favorite?
