The Midfield Swami is never relaxed fearing he'll be taxed....

Mr. Delahunt, a Massachusetts Democrat, introduced a bill that would rewrite the ground rules for Internet and mail order sales by eliminating the option for many Americans to shop over the Internet without paying state sales taxes. What are your thoughts on the issue? Good idea or bad thinking...should we pay taxes on items purchased over the internet and by mail-order?

Birds of a feather flock together. One the one hand we have the left wingers and one the other hand we have the right wingers. The problem: They are both on the same bird. None are trying to fly straight, they are more concerned in which wing has the most power. We have been flying in circles because of the dominance of one wing vrs the other. We either go clockwise or counter-clockwise and we are loosing altitude. I believe when we vote one bum out we are destined to vote another in!

There is hope! The most important election of our time is coming up in November and we just simply have to vote the bums out.

What about purchases overseas? Are there any taxes on those purchases? If not, that could be an alternative. I'm sick and tired of the tax system draining my income as it is. Are any more of you as discouraged as I am about America? Thiss is not the same America that I read about when I was in High School? It is not the same America that I worked in when I graduated either. It was called at one time the land of opportunity, jobs are being lost and there are no new ones to replace them. Is there a fix? Is there a salvation? Is there a hope? When men are left to govern themselves there are bound for doom. Outside of the return of Jesus Christ, we are doomed to failure. Jesus said, "without me, ye can do nothing." Hnag on people, it's going to be a long ride.

In Kentucky we already have to pay tax on things we buy over the Internet. You have to report on your state return the amount of your purchases and the tax on them is added to your total tax owed for the year.
